There are a number of great rental options in the area! Because of local renting laws, you cannot rent a home in Santa Barbara proper for under 30 days. If you choose to use Airbnb or VRBO, make sure to look at Montecito, Summerland, or Hope Ranch. We recommend reserving early as homes book up quickly.
We did this kayaking trip on our first trip to Santa Barbara in 2013. You take a boat out to the Channel Islands and kayak surrounded by seals (or sea lions... not sure we weren't listening because it's so beautiful!) .
